The Institute for Genetic and Metabolic Disease (IGMD) is one of the six Research Institutes of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre.
All our research, concentrated in nine research themes, aims to contribute to the wellbeing of patients with genetic and metabolic disease. The research spectrum includes both clinical, applied and fundamental research. Our research themes are coordinated by internationally acknowledged researchers. Taskforces have been established on topics which need further development, including bio-banking and the organization of international focussed training courses. I would like to welcome you to navigate through the IGMD website to  get an impression of our research organisation.
