Technology Platforms Task Force

IGMD research and patient care relies to a large extent on an excellent technical infrastructure built around a core of state of the art technology platforms (sequencing facility, genome scanning, ex-pression array, proteomics facility, metabolomics and glycomics facility). These platforms are the building blocks to successfully apply genomics, proteomics and metabolomics approaches and bring the data together in a holistic systems biology approach to genetic and metabolic disease. For researchers it is a challenge to make use of these facilities in their work and to incorporate this high tech infrastructure in future grant applications.
