The IGMD mission is to reduce the incidence of mortality, and severity and duration of morbidity resulting from Genetic and Metabolic Disease.

To reach this goal, we aim to:

• Elucidate the pathophysiology of specific diseases through basic and applied research.
• Develop novel diagnostic methods. 
• Develop innovative treatment modalities.
